As a result, many workers simply aren’t getting the professional development they need to learn new skills in order to be productive and effective.
In a recent survey, two fifths of professionals reported that they are less productive in their job without regular training and more than 60% said they would switch employers to secure more regular training opportunities.
Yet despite the importance of training to worker productivity, recent research has revealed that the average UK professional has gone two years without any training and more than 10% have had no training in over four years.
These startling statistics mean it’s now time for UK businesses to address this problem before it seriously impacts on their future success.
