Clive Liddle

Clive has an M. A. in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge and over 30 years' experience of business as a director, manager, training consultant and coach. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Association for Project Management. He has experience of a very wide range of businesses both as a line manager and as a consultant. These include healthcare, manufacturing, service industries, business advisers and professional practices, training and consultancy.

After graduating, Clive joined the Productivity Services Department of I.C.I. (Billingham). He benefited from a time of high organisational change and left with a sound grounding in management and managing projects.

He moved to his first training post within a company in 1982, and within three years he was promoted to manage management training. New initiatives designed to improve training effectiveness included action planning and course follow-up and establishing a dedicated group of managers and partners to support training in offices. At the same time, he was appointed Treasurer and member of the Executive of the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, and steered the Museum through a period of major change in the arts world.

Clive joined Spearhead Training Group in 1994, and has achieved consistently excellent performance both in open courses and in-company training (90%+ “excellent�/“very good� from all customers. His training experience has involved all ages, job types and seniority, from juniors to directors. His repertoire includes expertise in: management development, team building, executive leadership, project management, training skills, coaching, understanding business finance, performance appraisal, customer service management and managing conflict.

Clive runs a number of Spearhead Training’s open courses along with delivering bespoke in-house training for clients.
