Q. What are the course booking terms and conditions?

Q. What is the dress code when attending a Spearhead course?
A. The dress code is smart-casual. However, if you are attending one of our presentation skills courses we prefer you to come in business dress.

Q. How many people will there be on the course?
A. Spearhead courses are run with small numbers to ensure each attending delegate receives individual help and guidance from the tutor.

Q. What time does the course start/end?
A. All of our programmes start at 09:45 on the first day with a coffee reception and finish at either 16:30 (residential) or 17:00 (non-residential) on the last day.

Q. I want to book a residential course. Is the accommodation included in the course fee?
A. No. We will book accommodation on your behalf but you will need to settle your overnight accommodation bill with the venue on your departure.

Q. I want to book a non-residential course, but need to stay overnight. Can you arrange accommodation for me?
A. We will provide you with details of local hotels in your joining instructions pack.

Q. I want to book a residential course. Do I have to stay at the venue?
A. We don't insist that you stay in the venue but we strongly recommend that you do. There will be evening syndicate work for you to complete as part of the programme and staying at the venue will make this easier for you. Many delegates also find it useful to have the opportunity to chat and socialise with other delegates in the evening.

Q. Do you run this course at another venue?
A. Any of our courses can be run at a venue of your choice, exclusively for your own people. We also offer tailored and bespoke training.

Q. How do I get to the venue?
A. You will be sent full joining instructions by email. Maps and directions to the venue will be included in your pack.

Q. How do I get a 10% EarlyBird discount?
A. To qualify for a 10% EarlyBird discount, bookings must be paid for two months in advance of the course start date.

Q. How can I pay the training course fee?
A. We accept payment by cheque, BACS or Maestro, Mastercard & Visa. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to "Spearhead Training Group Limited" and allow sufficient time for clearing. Our bank details for BACS payments are available upon request. If paying by credit card we will call you once we have received your booking to take your credit card details. Calls will be made during normal office hours.

Q. What are the course booking terms and conditions?

• A. Re: Payment of Invoices. All payments (except for training passports) are due 14 days before the start of a course, or within 7 days of booking for courses on special offer. If you are booking a course now that is due to start within 14 days you should choose to pay by debit/credit card. Our staff will call you to take the card details. Payment cannot be made by delegates on the day. Training passports must be purchased in advance and are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
• Re: Cancellations & Transfers. Courses are run with small numbers for maximum effect. Cancellation/transfers after places have been confirmed will incur an administration charge of 15% of the full course fee. Cancellations and transfers within 14 days of the course start cannot be accepted. Substitutes can be made at any time up to start of course without cost penalty.

Q. Is there funding available for training?

Government funding (when available) can be used for training supplied by Spearhead. The type and value of funding varies greatly from region to region and depends on the size of your organisation, where you are located and the type of buisness you are. For more information please contact your local Business Link telling them the name and date of the Spearhead Course you want to attend.
