In 1981 three directors had a vision: to provide training that was practical and effective and that improved business performance. From that vision Spearhead Training was created. Today the same ethos exists and we work tirelessly to be the best at what we do: designing and delivering cost effective soft skills training. This means we constantly aim for quality improvements in everything that we undertake.

Spearhead Training specialises in soft skills training in four distinct areas: Management - where we offer a range of courses in management and leadership training, Sales training - including specialist FMCG sales training , business skills training, and PA and office support training. The business skills section contains courses that cover the types of skills needed in most roles, for example assertiveness or project training.

Whilst we offer wide range of open courses, nearly half of all work is conducted on an “in-company” basis. Any of our open courses can be tailored to your specific requirements so that the effects of the training are maximised. Very often this means that we design bespoke course material to meet your unique requirements.

We work on a confidential basis with many of our clients and are heavily involved in development work that builds the skills needed by their people to deliver the client’s business strategy.

Today we have offices in Chipping Norton, London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar & Sharjah. We have a growing workforce and the current total number of employees in the group is 120.


We run open training course throughout the UK at various locations predominantly in London and Central England. Very often, we have delegates coming from all around the world to attend our courses.  We can deliver in-house training anywhere in the UK and Europe. Increasingly more and more of our work is internationally based. We have a European based tutor team that can deliver training across Europe.

Training effectiveness - The effectiveness of training is largely down the ability of the trainer. This is a fundamental area that we invest in to ensure that our trainers are the best in the business. All of our tutors have been hand selected for their particular discipline. We only recruit tutors with practical, real life experience in the subjects that they train. In addition, we invest in their professional development to maintain and develop high standards.

Improving business performance through practical training - Our focus is to ensure that our class room based training can be translated into the work place. Training should have a positive impact on performance. We update our course material regularly to include new information covering current trends and ideas. The course materials are designed to develop delegate’s knowledge and skills. We guarantee the quality of our work. Poor training is expensive whatever the price.

Since 1981, Spearhead Training has been responsible for training and developing over 500,00 delegates in over 20,000 organisations. We have an extensive customer base with a wide range of clients across both the corporate and public sector. Our corporate clients range from small businesses to large multinational operations. We pride ourselves on our repeat business rate, which is greater than 90%. This includes customers who originally approached us for one off work and as such is the best testimony of all to the quality and effectiveness of our work.
