Leadership Training - Supervisor training - Selling training
Spearhead Training’s courses in leadership training are specifically designed to enable delegates to achieve more and be highly successful leaders. Leadership is all about making your mark on the future and instigating positive changes. Leadership skills can be identified and developed through effective training. The leadership training course is run over three days and uses a mixture of case studies, tutorial input, practical exercises and discussion groups. It commences by considering how teams perform and looks at team dynamics given different leadership styles.
Key areas covered include the difference between managing and leading, the leaders role in the seven stages of business growth, the make up of teams and individual staff needs. Delegates build a solid foundation of techniques and skills to be effective leaders. The programme then moves onto coaching staff, which is an essential hallmark of a leader. In three days this course changes your life! We also run a supervisor training programme. This focuses on the key steps in directing and organising work effort. This two day course has been specifically designed for team leaders and supervisors who have to manage individuals as part of a team.
The supervisor training course is ideal for those just promoted to the role or as a refresher for those without formal training. It gives clear guidelines and practical exercises on each topic to instil techniques and skills required. The programme covers the role and responsibilities, the skills needed to move from team member to supervisor, the problems faced, the difference between team leadership and team management, controlling teams, motivation, problem behaviour and giving clear instructions. It also looks at personal efficiency in order ensure that sufficient time is allocated to staff supervision. Throughout the programme delegates identify actions to implement upon return to the workplace.
Spearhead Training’s selling training is designed to develop skills and improve business performance. The courses are very participative. The tutors draw from the views of the delegates in order to build on their experience and reinforcing key points with practical and syndicate exercises. The selling training also focuses on providing individual attention to each delegate. Each key stage of the process of selling is examined and delegates formulate best practice. The stages covered include planning, prospecting, making appointments, meetings, questioning and consultative selling, presentations, objection handling and closing.
